Our God fills us with joy, peace, & hope!

In whatever life’s circumstances you are faced with today, know that God has the ability and power to bring joy and peace to your heart. He can bring joy and peace to my heart. All we have to choose to do is to trust Him. Trust. God.

As I say those words (Trust. God.) I pause and reflect and consider myself and whether I am trusting God with the current circumstance before me. I can look back and see how God has been faithful before and made a way in so many instances prior. I can look back and remind myself of the miracles in my life and then come back to this simple statement again. Trust. God.

Lord, help me trust you. As I trust you, You will fill me with not just a little bit, but ALL joy and peace. Wow! All joy. All peace. It’s hard to imagine complete peace. And yet, God can fill me, can fill you with ALL peace, ALL joy- as we trust in Him. Increase my trust in You Lord.

It doesn’t stop there though- The result of that is having hope that is so much that it overflows (through the Holy Spirit’s power). That hope can’t be contained. I want to be full of hope from the Lord, the overflowing, over spilling kind. Lord, give me your hope today through the Holy Spirit.

Fill me with joy, peace, and hope today as I trust in You. Amen.
