Be Obedient, Trust God, & Be brave!

What can I be obedient in next Lord?

This has been the question on my heart the last 7 days. It is a pivotal question, and each day I have asked myself for the Lord to truly lead and help me to be open to saying yes to what He is telling me to do, to be obedient in it, to be brave. I have been intentional and woken up early, though not rested, and I’ve tried to start each day in His word, praying, writing, reading His word. I have taken tangible steps in my writing desires this week toward believing that God has called me to this, and I will focus in on taking steps of faith in it.

If God is calling me to it, I need to be obedient and take each small step forward, trusting He knows the way forward.

I have seen the fruit of that this week. Going to a class to learn, joining a community of writers, choosing to write and put myself out there, signing up for something new and different, going to another event and meeting the author… There have been many other ways God has brought joy and goodness this week in leading me to specific activities with my family this week as well, each day.

The Lord has been ordering my steps this week as He orders my steps other weeks also, but I have been actively asking Him to lead and show me what to be obedient in that day, each day.

To ask what God’s priority for my day is, is to hand the reins over to Him and allow Him to lead me to what is better. He has lovingly answered and shown me the way forward. How beautiful the gift of God-lovingly guiding us if we ask Him to do so.

So, my friend, what is God calling you to today to be obedient in? What is His priority for your day today? What will be life giving for you and your family?

In addition to that, if God has been quietly calling you to something, have you listened to His voice? Are you willing to believe that it’s for you and that you don’t have to know the way forward today or any day? That you can just be obedient with what God is calling you to today, right now.

He’ll show you the way for tomorrow too, if you ask Him.

If God is calling you to it, be obedient & take each small step forward. Trust He knows the way forward & will be right with you each step of the way.

It comes down to trusting and having faith and believing that God knows what He’s doing and where He is leading. Be brave and say yes today and see how the Lord blesses you and leads you in it. 💕
