Authentic & Vulnerable
Choose to be authentic & vulnerable in safe community. It is a choice. To enter into being vulnerable. To open up our emotions, fears, insecurities, & stories to other individuals. To allow our authentic self be known. There is risk. Will I be seen, validated, & acknowledged? Or will what I share be dismissed, minimized, judged, or invalidated? Will I be rejected? For true connection & vulnerability, I believe mutual reciprocity of open vulnerability is necessary. Both entering into sharing. Active listening with empathy, compassion, & understanding present Will we give space to each other? To sit in the hard spaces but also the joyous spaces together too. To celebrate…

True Freedom In Christ
Luke 4:18–21 (ESV): “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” 20 And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. 21 And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing” Jesus came to fulfill this prophecy originally from…

New Life into the Dead & Broken Parts
God can breathe new life into what was dead, past hope, broken, & done for. God has been at work slowly doing this in my own life. It’s not over yet. It is a process. There are ups and downs as I move forward in it.I have to keep trusting that God is doing a good thing in my life— creating it. Forming it. Reforming the clay, me, as He desires. There is a submission and surrender. My role is to obey. To surrender. To persevere. To yield to what He desires.Hebrews 12: 1a–2 (ESV) says “…let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us…
