God Is In the Room & He Still Does Miracles.

Friend— You are Not alone. No matter what you are going through. No matter if anyone knows the battle you are facing, the struggles that are pressing in, the pressures you face. God is right there with you.

The song “In the Room” by Maverick City Music is one of my current favorites because it testifies to how God has always been the same, back when Daniel was in the lion’s den and wasn’t devoured after going against the command to only pray to the king. He continued to pray to God and was sentenced to death by the lion’s den as a result. But God protected him. (Read about Daniel in Daniel 6.) After Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednego were placed tied up in a fiery furnace made 7 x’s hotter (and the people who placed them in it died) and were seen walking around in the extremely hot fire with a 4th man and the 3 of them came out alive- not even smelling like smoke. (Daniel 3; They were thrown in because they wouldn’t compromise their belief in the One true God by bowing and worshipping what the king at that time commanded everyone to worship.).

The woman who sings this song shares her testimony of depression and finally being delivered from depression (on YouTube).
Because in the darkness, in the depression, she said God was in the room.

In whatever darkness that you are in, friend, know that God is in the room. God is right there. Call to Him. Ask Him for help, for wisdom, for healing, for freedom from whatever you are facing.

God doesn’t just do miracles in the Bible.

I have seen the hand of God do miracles in my own life. That is why I write.

Because God called me out like Moses to do His work, to not stay back in my own private life anymore… but to declare publicly what God has done and who He is.

God is still in the Room. God still does miracles. Who needs to cling to that today?
