Author Spotlight:
Rechelle is someone who makes you feel at ease and grateful. I have been a guest on her podcast three separate times and each conversation has been dynamic and special. Rechelle has a love for life which is contagious. She has walked through the pain of losing her infant son, and in her book, she includes letters she wrote to him as well as letters they received from many other people during pregnancy, through his surgeries, and in the year following his passing. She shares these deeply personal moments of their own life in order to help others as they heal from painful moments also.

My Amazon Review of Standing Tall
“Standing Tall is not a book you read through fast. It is a sacred story of grief and remembrance and the slow journey of grieving and healing. Rechelle, the author, wrote letters to her infant son, Christian, after he passed away due to a heart condition. She shares from finding out in pregnancy all the way through birth and both heart surgeries and beyond. His life is a precious gift. This book allows you to have an intimate glimpse into a mother’s love for her child as she walks through the first year of grieving him. You will be encouraged in your own grief journey, in seeking out community of those who have also lost, of going to a bereavement group, of taking time to remember your loved one, and of holding onto your faith in God.
Reading this feels distinctly like being welcomed into a friend’s journal, thoughts, and heart. She also shares letters from family and friends also. May we find wisdom for our own journey of healing from the example that Rechelle gives in these pages.”
